How to find us:
- using the tram:
TravelService of German Railway
- from market place or railway station use tram nr.4
with destination 'Heide'
- leave the tram at stop 'Weinberg Campus'
(3rd stop after crossing the river)
- using the car :
The Center of Materials Science is situated in the "Weinberg Campus" (Wissenschafts- und Inovationspark Heide-Süd)
- coming from Berlin / Leipzig / Munich:
- use highway A9 to exit Halle(Saale)/B100 or
A14 exit Halle-Peißen/B100
- follow motorway B100 up to Halle
- at the first traffic light turn left (using
the right lane)
- after 200m turn right destination B6/Magdeburg
- gleich nach Auffahrt auf die B 6 fahren Sie
an der Abfahrt Wolfensteinstrasse wieder ab
- use first exit Wolfensteinstrasse (only 100m)
- follow this street (Große Brunnenstraße)
for about 1km
- follow the right turning main street and after
150m you turn on this street left
- cross the river Saale on the bridge Giebichensteinbrücke
- after the bridge turn immediately right and drive along the Saale River on TALSTRASSE (one-way street)
- at the stop sign you turn left into WEINBERGWEG.
- coming from Magdeburg: :
- use highway A14 exit Halle-Trotha / B6
- follow main street B 6 up to Halle
- follow the signs to B 80 Eisleben / Burg Giebichenstein
(turn right into Seebener Strasse)
- cross the river Saale on the bridge Giebichensteinbrücke
- follow the instructions above
- coming from Eisleben / B 80:
- follow main street B 80 up to Rennbahnkreuz
- follow the signs to Kröllwitz (B 6 Magdeburg
ahead)
- go straight on to the Kreisverkehr
